Shopian encounter : Three militants body recovered, search on | KNO

Shopian, March 28 (KNO) : Third militant body has been recovered from the encounter spot in yawran area of Keller in South kashmir's Shopian district.

Officials confirmed KNO that three dead bodies have been recovered so far and search operation is on in the area. Earlier on specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area joint teams of forces including 23 Paras cordoned off yawran Keller of Shopian. At the initial stage of the cordon, hiding militants fired upon forces which was retaliated triggered a brief shoot out, they said.

Three militants bodies have been recovered who were killed in initial shootout and toll of killed in brief shootout may incrwade and search operation is on as we have inputs that more militants are trapped, Officials said.(KNO)
